Weekday morning Grocery Recovery STORE PICK UP- (volunteer once a week, 6-month commitment)
Typically 8:30-11:00 am
We are looking for people available weekday mornings to pick up grocery donations from local grocery stores for the San Leandro Community Food Pantry’s weekly pantry event. Requirements:
Driver:
- lifting up to 50 lbs.
- loading and unloading boxes
- weighing the filled boxes
- sorting and putting away the contents of the boxes
- Valid Driver’s license and good driving record
- Own or regular access to large vehicle (truck or van preferred) as donations can exceed 500 lbs
Helper:
- lifting up to 50 lbs.
