Volunteers may be asked to:
- Lift cases of food weighing 10-25 lbs
- Monitor line/parking lot (give directions, remind people to stand 6’ apart)
- Prepack bags of food (during Shelter-in-Place)
- Sort/organize food
- Help guests bring food to their car
- Wipe tables
- Set up/Clean up
- Pick up trash
Important information during the shelter in place:
- If you are not feeling well, please stay home and contact us to let you know you can't make it
- Wash your hands and use hand sanitizer after you arrive
- Follow good health practices:
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands
- Avoid touching your face
- Wear a mask or face covering
- Wear gloves (provided) during your time at the pantry
- After 7 pm we may ask volunteers to leave early based on how many guests we have in the line
