Needs From: City of San Leandro

We are looking for someone to help do a Pick Up from Lucky's (in San Leandro) every Monday.

The start time is flexible between 9-10:30 am, usually takes 1.5-2 hours

 

Weekday morning Grocery Recovery STORE PICK UP- (volunteer once a week, 6-month commitment)

We are looking for people available weekday mornings to pick up grocery donations from local grocery stores for the San Leandro Community Food Pantry’s weekly pantry event.  Requirements:

Helper:

lifting up to 50 lbs. loading and unloading boxes weighing the filled boxes sorting and putting away the contents of the boxes

Driver: (we have a driver for this shift)

lifting up to 50 lbs. loading and unloading boxes weighing the filled boxes sorting and putting away the contents of the boxes  Valid Driver’s license and good driving record Own or regular access to a large vehicle (truck or van preferred) as donations are packed in large boxes

lifting up to 50 lbs. loading and unloading boxes weighing the filled boxes sorting and putting away the contents of the boxes  Valid Driver’s license and good driving record Own or regular access to large vehicle (truck or van preferred) as donations can exceed 500 lbs

Helper:

lifting up to 50 lbs. loading and unloading boxes weighing the filled boxes sorting and putting away the contents of the boxes
