As Davis Street starts to reopen at full capacity, we are looking for a volunteer who will assist us in sorting through donations and keeping our free clothing closet well stocked with items.
Qualifications:
- Must be fully vaccinated
- Must be willing to sort through unknown used donations
- Must be able to bend, stand and lift up to 20 pounds
- Enjoys working with a diverse population and helping people
- Must be able to work in both calm and fast-paced environments
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to support Davis Street staff in any capacity
Responsibilities:
- Receive donations from donors
- Sort and hang clothing
- Organizing shelfs with other donations
- Keep clothing area clean and restocked
- Maintain a respectful relationship with clients, staff and other volunteers
